San Francisco Police released a composite sketch of a man who punched and then fatally stabbed a teenager who tried calling 911 to report the crime with his cell phone in the city’s Ingleside District on February 7.
Investigators said the unknown assailant confronted Victor Zheng, 16, and his friend on the 500 block of Holloway Avenue shortly before 11 p.m. and assaulted him.
Zheng followed the suspect to Ocean and Capitol avenues before the suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the teenage in the upper torso. The assailant fled the scene in a newer black-colored two-door Honda sedan with chrome rims.
Zheng was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he died an hour later, police said.
Homicide Inspectors describe the suspect as an Asian male, 18 or 19 years old, standing 5-feet-10 to 5-feet-11, weighing 160 to 180 pounds and may have a mole on his upper right cheek. The suspect was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, sagging blue jeans and black tennis shoes when he assaulted Zheng.
Inspectors publicly released a sketch of the killer on Tuesday morning in hopes of soliciting tips to identify Zheng’s killer.
Tipsters may call the San Francisco Police with information at (415) 553-1071 or anonymously at (415) 575-4444. The SFPD also allows the public to text-a-tip to authorities by entering 847411, typing SFPD, and then sending the tip.

Victor was my little sisters friend :(
I swear this dude looks familiar. RIP Victor.
He looks familiar, but that’s only because this is a very typical look.
